Both Rufus and Paolo Di Canio featured in the 4-0 win for Charlton against Fulham, with Di Canio scoring twice and Graham Stuart and Kevin Lisbie also on target.

EU SILLY BOY: Leading goalscorer Jason Euell will miss Charlton’s home match against Liverpool as a result of his two yellow cards and eventual dismissal against Manchester United on Saturday. The red card was Charlton's third in five matches this season, and fourth in six matches including the final game of last season.

MARK OF DESPAIR: Mark DeBolla’s Football League debut ended in disappointment on Saturday when the striker, on loan with Chesterfield, was carried off with torn ankle ligaments. The 20-year-old was stretchered off in the 79th minute of the Spireites’ home match against Notts County at the Recreation Ground, with the injury putting paid to his one-month spell in the Midlands.

COLE OUT: Loan signing Carlton Cole has been to see a hip specialist to assess the severity of his complaint. The 19-year-old striker, who signed a year-long deal with the Addicks in August, has made just two substitute appearances and withdrew from the England under-21 squad last week.
