Bromley and Cambridge United played out a goalless draw in an intense match at the top of League Two.
The fixture, played at the CopperJax Community Stadium, was a first versus third encounter, with both teams fighting for dominance in the league.
Cambridge United entered the match in excellent form, having lost just one of their past 13 league games, and notably defeating Notts County 4-0 in their previous match. The result, however, still keeps Bromley at the top of the table with 84 points.
Cambridge United, who had a brief setback when their goalkeeper Jake Eastwood received a red card in their last match, brought in Jack Walton on an emergency loan deal from Preston North End.
The 27-year-old went straight into the starting lineup and played a crucial role in maintaining a clean sheet for his side.

The match quickly became a test of resilience for both teams, with Bromley having an early penalty appeal dismissed by referee Sam Mulhall, after Nicke Kabamba went down in the box.
Cambridge had a major chance to take the lead 10 minutes into the game when Ben Knight found himself one-on-one with Bromley goalkeeper Grant Smith, but his shot went wide.
Bromley's Omar Sowunmi came close to opening the score with a downward header that went just wide of the post.
In the 33rd minute, Cambridge's Shayne Lavery, who scored against Bromley in the first round of the 2023 FA Cup, saw his header bounce off the crossbar. The second half continued with the same intensity as the first, with both teams creating chances but failing to convert.
In the 65th minute, Ben Thompson's powerful shot for Bromley was saved by Walton, and a series of follow-up shots were blocked by the Cambridge defence.
With three minutes of normal time left, Nicke Kabamba and Mitch Pinnock had their shots saved by Walton, keeping the score at 0-0. The final whistle confirmed the stalemate, with both teams sharing the points.
The match had an attendance of 5,439, including 519 away fans.
