Bromley manager Andy Woodman says that his Bromley side is still in a brilliant position to achieve promotion following their 1-1 draw at the CopperJax Community Stadium.
The league leaders went in front when Matthew Dennis flicked a free-kick into his own net, putting Bromley ahead. Although Notts County had limited chances, they were awarded a penalty early in the second half when Jodi Jones was pulled down by Marcus Ifill.
Jones then converted the resulting spot-kick to equalise.
Scott Robertson was sent off for a second yellow with 10 minutes to go, and from there Bromley went with multiple waves of attacks as they looked for the winner, and they believed they should've had a penalty in added time when Nickie Kabamba seemed to be wiped out.
It wasn't given, and 1-1 was how it ended, meaning that Bromley held a four-point lead over Cambridge United at the top of League Two.
The two contentious penalty decisions were ones that Woodman was not happy with at all.
"That's cost us [the Notts County penalty] at one end, and then we have got a stonewall penalty at the other, so it just feels like we keep getting these emails every Monday from the referee apologising, it's probably six or seven times now.
"For me, we have not got VAR in this league, but it is so simple to put an analyst beside them with an iPad, and just look over it really quickly.
"It is really disappointing because it is going to cost clubs big prizes at the end of it, and it is such an easy fix."
Despite the decision, Woodman was proud of the effort that his team put in.
"I thought that we played some good football in the right areas, we pressed them high, and we didn't create loads of great chances, but at the end of the day, it was always going to be a tight game.
"I'm really proud of my team; we are unbeaten at home, and that is nothing to be disappointed at."
The draw meant Bromley's advantage at the top was reduced to four points, but reiterated that they were still on target for an incredible season.
"We have just got to take care of what we do, we have got two more games this week [against Cheltenham and Harrogate], and we need to make sure that this point becomes a good one on the back of the two games that we play next.
"Four points clear at the top, and for all the noise on the outside, we are still bang on target."
