Bromley manager Andy Woodman was full of praise for his team's performance in their 2-0 win over Grimsby Town.
Will Hondermarck hit a brace for the. Ravens, one goal coming in each half. The win meant that Bromley continued to remain undefeated at Hayes Lane in League Two in the final home match of 2025.
Woodman had many good things to say about how his team played, though he did admit the first half was much worse in comparison to the second half.
"We were very good, I thought," claimed the manager.
"In the first half, we were not at the races, we looked lacklustre, we looked second best, and could not really get tight to anybody, but we went in [at half-time] 1-0 up.
"Second half, we looked a bit more like us. A bit more on the front foot, more shutting down, a little bit more winning the second balls.
"It is satisfying [to see the game-plan work], when the boys react to me having a bit of a moan at half-time, it makes me very proud to be their manager because they want to do it more than anything."
Woodman was also full of praise for the performance by Will Hondermarck
"I've been onto him [Hondermarck], he has got to score goals, and if he wants to become the player that I believe he can, then he has got to start adding goals to his game.
"He got two today, and players are chomping at the bit to get into the team, so when you are in the team, you have to perform because something else is waiting to come in.
"That is what we have got now, a squad of players that are hungry to get into the starting 11.
