Andy Woodman says Bromley can use their win over Crewe Alexandra to move past a difficult period for the club.
Before their trip to the Mornflake Stadium on Saturday, the Ravens were without a win in their last six games in all competitions.
Having started the season well, losing just one of their opening 10 games in all competitions, Woodman made it clear from the beginning that the Ravens are eying promotion this season.
Their recent winless run dampened these aspirations, and matters were made worse when the Football Association charged Woodman with misconduct on Thursday, following his sending-off against Tranmere Rovers last weekend.
Having got back to winning ways, Woodman is keen to use the Ravens’ 1-0 triumph at Crewe as a foundation to push ahead in a positive light.
“I always say about this group of players and this football club, when adversity faces us in the face, we come together and dig in, and we did that today,” Woodman said.
“I’m not getting carried away, but I’m really chuffed that that’s a bit of a foundation that we put down today.
"We've got to make sure now, this is us, and that this is our foundation, and we start from ground zero again.
"We have had a tricky couple of weeks, myself included in that, and I haven't covered myself in glory in that.
"So I want to make sure that we, as a football club, and me, as a manager, start getting spoken about and written about for the right reasons, not the wrong reasons like last week."
