Crystal Palace aim to secure their first win of 2023 when they host Manchester United in the Premier League tonight (January 18).

Standing in their way is a United side who would move up to second with a win this evening and are looking to extend their winning run to eight in the league.

The Eagles are likely to be without centre-back Joachim Andersen after he suffered a calf injury in their game against Chelsea.

Palace are seeking to win their first game against a team in the top half of the table this season.

Manchester United can strengthen their case to be included in the title race with three points, but will be wary of tonight’s opposition after suffering a 1-0 loss at Selhurst Park on the final day of last season.

Wout Weghorst is now available for selection following his January move and the 6ft6 Dutchman will add a new dynamic to United’s attack.

The Brazilian midfield duo of Fred and Casemiro will have to be on the best behaviour as a booking for either of them will mean they miss their team’s trip to league leaders Arsenal.
