MILLWALL have reportedly failed with a bid to sign Zian Flemming from Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard.
The 23-year-old midfielder was wanted by Nottingham Forest last summer and has had a decent season so far.
Flemming has made 13 appearances in the Dutch top flight scoring two goals and assisting two more.
The Lions are believed to have put in a bid worth €1.3 million for the midfielder, but it was deemed not good enough by the club, according to Dutch media outlet Voetbal International.
Flemming came through the academy at Dutch giants Ajax and is contracted to his current club until 2024.
Fortuna Sittard are currently second from bottom in the league and are three points from safety.
It is unknown whether or not Millwall will go back in for the player this month.
