Crystal Palace forward Cenk Tosun is expected to miss the rest of the season though injury.
The man on-loan from Everton picked up a knee injury in training on Tuesday and Palace are fearing the worst.
It's thought the striker has retruned to Everton to establish the severity of the injury but his time in SE25 looks to be cut short.
Tosun has two years left on his Goodison Park deal but joined Roy Hodgson’s side in January with a view to making the switch to permanent this summer for a fee believed to be around £20million.
According to NTV, the 28-year-old is expected to miss up to seven months, putting a permanent move Palace had planned in doubt.
The injury will come as a blow to Turkey’s Euro 2020 ambitions with Tosun their leading scorer.
The former Besiktas man has netted two league goals this season, one in Palace colours.
