Millwall’s Jed Wallace has turned heads with his performances recently and Friday night’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest was no different.

Already linked with a £10million move to Aston Villa next month, his first half display at The Den in front of the Sky Sports cameras will have done little to warn of admirers.

Picking up the Man of The Match award for his display he will no doubt attract more attention in January.

The 25-year-old dazzled with skill, pace and trickery in the first half and was at the heart of everything that was good for the Lions.

Despite a second half error which saw Lewis Grabban strike in the 87th minute before Aiden O’Brien saved his blushes, Wallace was the focus of much of the Sky Sports punditry team.

A little too much focus many fans would were keen to point out.

The Friday night fixture was featured live on Sky Sports where Don Goodman and Andy Hinchcliffe seemed to have irked some viewers with their praise for Wallace.
