Josh Cullen will not be available for Charlton until the New Year Lee Bowyer has confirmed.
The midfielder left the field on a stretcher in the 2-2 draw with Cardiff City on Saturday with an ankle injury.
Bowyer, speaking after his side's 2-1 defeat at Luton on Tuesday confirmed that he will be without the on-loan West Ham man until after Christmas.
"Josh is going to be out a while, a fair while," he said.
"Longer than Lyle, not the season, but he won’t be back before Christmas.
"He’s done his ligament, a few of them.
"It’s not good."
There was better new for Ehrun Oztumer however who Bowyer beleives will be availabel for the weekend fixture agaisnt Sheffield Wednesday.
"Ozzy, it’s more bruising on the bone, he couldn’t walk.
"It’s something with his metatarsal, I’m hoping and praying it’s OK for Saturday, but I don’t know.”
