Here's how the Charlton players rated n their 2-1 defeat at Luton Town.

Dillon Phillips 6

Little he could do for the opening goal and will feel down on his luck in the manner they were conceded. Looked a little shaky with the ball at his feet.

Chris Solly 6

Caught out of position on more than one occasion in the first half and Luton got some joy down Charlton’s right.

Jason Pearce 6

Fantastic block in the first half to deny Collins but was exposed time and again by a midfield infrotninfront of him that offered little protection.

Tom Lockyer 5

Made one error that went unpunished in the first half but his commitment in unparalleled. Found it tough going against James Collins.

Naby Sarr 4

Looks a player short of confidence, out of sorts and prone to a misplaced pass. Defended stoutly but you never feel assured when he’s in possession. Hooked before the hour.

Ben Purrington 5

Got forward enough but often his delivery failed to beat the first man. Looked more comfortable second half when Bowyer reverted to a 4-4-2.

Darren Pratley 6

Such has been his form he’s papered over many troubles int e in the Charlton midfield. this season. Against a physical and dynamic Luton midfield however he was fully stretched. That said, made one incredible block to deny Shinnie in the second half and on multiple occasions he stifled a Luton attack.

Albie Morgan 6

Picked up and dropped off possession and kept it ticking over nicely in the middle. Looked a little lightweight amongst a physical Luton side in the first half but grew into the gaem in the second.

Conor Gallagher 5

Control, vision, and desire of a player years ahead of his and showing why he’s getting rave reviews. That’s when he’s in possession. Maybe too eager in trying to retrieve possession as shown with the yellow card picked up, meaning he’ll miss the weekend’s fixture.

Jonathan Leko 6

Showed a real turn of pace before superbly slotting his opener. A bit more composure wouldn’t go amiss however as he tries to bring players into the game.

Macauley Bonne 5

Harried and hassled the Hatters backline in a thankless task. With a midfield sitting deeper and deeper he’s one who’ll benefit massively with the return of any of the crocked Addicks.

Alfie Doughty 6

Picked up some nice positions in the attacking third and looked a threat.
