Ben Amos has returned to Charlton on a permanent basis.
The goalkeeper who enjoyed a successful season loan during the 2017/18 season returns to The Valley on a year long deal with an option for a further 12 months after his contract at Bolton expired this summer.
Amos, 29, spent last season on loan at Millwall and it’s thought his Championship experience will prove vital for Lee Bowyer’s men in their first season back in the second tier,
The former Manchester United, Peterborough, Oldham, Hull and Carlisle man played 50 games for The Addicks during his loan spell two years ago, but admitted he never felt like he’d left.
“It feels great, it doesn’t really feel like I’ve been away to be honest,” he told CAFC.
“I enjoyed my time here last time, I know a lot of the people and the staff here and I want to play Championship football.
“I’m excited to get going.”

The signing is Lee Bowyer’s fifth of the campaign and will offer current No.1 Dillon Phillips competition for the jersey.
Head of Recruitment Steve Gallen admitted Amos had been tracked for a large part of the transfer window.
“Behind the scenes all summer, we’ve been pushing it and pushing it – trying to get him back,” he said.
“Lee (Bowyer) in particular is pleased we have our goalkeepers lined up. Since I’ve come to the club it’s always been about looking to get loan goalkeepers to support Dillon, or help him, or push him along.
“So now we have our own two goalkeepers at the club, two permanents, two good goalkeepers, it is really, really pleasing.”
