Millwall have signed Reading striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.

The Icelandic international, who can play on the flank or up front, has joined Neil Harri's side for an estimated fee of £750,000.

Bodvarsson, 27, moved to England when former Millwall manager Kenny Jackett signed him for Wolves from German side Kaiserslautern following his impressive form at Euro 2016.

The attacker started all five games for his country in the tournament including the infamous 2-1 victory against England in the quarter-finals.

After a season at the Molineux, Bodvarsson moved to Reading where he has scored 16 goals in 55 appearances – seven of those coming his first 12 games of last season.

The 6'2" attacker becomes the Lions sixth summer signing following the arrivals of Alex Pearce, Frank Fielding, Tyler Burey, Matt Smith and Connor Mahoney.

Bodvarsson is set to join his new team mates on their flight to Portugal this afternoon for Millwall’s annual pre-season training camp.
