Portsmouth have rejected two fresh bids for Millwall target Jamal Lowe.

The clubs have not been identified but it’s known that Millwall and Wigan have been long-time admirers of the Pompey attacker.

The Lions made an offer of £1.5million earlier in the transfer window which was rebuffed with the south coast club looking to get closer to £3million for the former Hampton and Richmond star.

Lowe, 24, has attracted interest from a host of Championship clubs after a stellar 2018/19 season which saw him net 17 times for Pompey, starring in the Checkatrade Trophy Final win over Sunderland at Wembley.

Under contract until 2020, with an option of a further year, Kenny Jackett is under no instruction to sell Lowe but it’s thought the player is keen to test himself in the higher divisions.

The attacker is back in pre-season with Portsmouth, scoring in a 45-minute outing in their 11-0 drubbing of UCD in Dublin.

Millwall's Neil Harris has made four signing's so far this season with Frankie Fielding, Alex Pearce, Matt Smith and Connor Mahoney all part of the manager's re-building process.
