The chances of Krystian Bielik returning to Charlton on-loan for the 2019/20 season look all but over.

Reports in the 21-year-old’s native Poland suggest AC Milan are interested in taking the Arsenal man to the San Siro.

Bielik, who shone whilst at loan at The Valley in defence and midfield looks set to be overlooked by Gunner’s boss Unai Emery this season and the Italian giants are keen to strike according to outlet Przeglad Sportowy.

Poland’s under-21 international starred at the European Championships this summer but chances Bielik will break into Emery’s squad look thin with the manager eager to sign another defender.

Reports that AC Milan want to take Bielik have all but ended Lee Bowyer’s chances of re-signing the influential Pole.
