Millwall have ‘agreed a deal' to sign Bournemouth winger Connor Mahoney, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The 22-year-old joined the Cherries in 2017 but spent the entirety of last season on-loan at Championship rivals Birmingham City.

Having spent half the previous season in League One with Barnsley, the Englishman feels he needs to move on a permanent basis having played just two FA Cup fixtures under Eddie Howe.

Last week it was reported that Neil Harris had bid for an un-named Premiership player and Mahoney would fit the criteria.
