Twenty-four hours is a long time in the life of a Charlton fan.
Monday evening it would've been impossible to find even the most optimistic Addick with reason to be hopeful as they ventured in to the Championship seemingly without a manager.
Such was the disappointment surrounding the Club's failure to reach an agreement in extending Lee Bowyer's current deal, fans vented a backlash towards the Clubs' owner, Roland Duchatelet.

Charlton manager Lee Bowyer signs one-year contract extensionThe news awaiting those same fans on Tuesday morning however couldn't have been any better as in a dramatic U-turn the club and Bowyer had agreed a one-year extension.
Needless to say the mood amongst the Addicks faithful was in stark contrast to the day before.
