Millwall are frontrunners in landing Ipswich Town goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski according to reports.

The Polish international is being chased by a host of Championship clubs following Town’s relegation to League One.

Lions boss Neil Harris is in need of a shot stopper after Jordan Archer, Dave Martin and Ben Amos all left the club this month.

Bialkowski impressed in a poor Ipswich side last season and the drop to the third tier has magnified the interest in the £1.5million rated 31-year-old.

The former Southampton, Notts County, and Barnsley man is eager to play at a higher level than League One in a bid to force his way back in to the national side.

Millwall target Jamal Lowe ready for Championship football

Ipswich are understood to be willing to listen to offers for their three-time Player Of The Year and according to East Anglia Times, Millwall are the club at the head of the queue.

Harris is keen to add to his sole signing of the season thus far, defender Alex Pearce, but remained tight-lipped over potential targets but admitted he’s keen to get deals done before the players return for pre-season.

“The board are being hugely supportive in getting things done, and they will get done because we promised the fan base a lot,” he told

“It’s key for us to get as much done before the players back, whether that’s getting players signed and over the line or meeting players that we’ve identified.

“Now is the background work, and we are certainly busy doing that.”
