Charlton will face Doncaster Rovers in the playoff semi-finals after they finished third in the League One table.
The Addicks will travel to the Keepmoat Stadium on May 12 before hosting the second leg at The Valley on May 17.
Their convincing 4-0 win over Rochdale came as Portsmouth drew 1-1 with Accrington Stanley and Sunderland suffered a defeat at Southend.
That means, if Charlton defeat Doncaster in the semi-finals, then they will face either Portsmouth or Sunderland at Wembley, with the winner going up to the Championship.
