Millwall have decisions to make this summer.

Lee Gregory is Millwall’s top scorer with 13 across all competitions this season.

Defender Jake Cooper is next in line with seven.

With stats like that there’s no surprise they’ve spent most of the season fluttering around the relegation zone.

Gregory is out of contract in the summer, and with Tom Elliott, Steve Morison and Aiden O’Brien’s deals all set to expire in the next month Neil Harris will have to decide who he wants to stay and who he wants to bring in.

That’s if, of course, they want to stay, with Harris himself admitting he feels Gregory will move on.

Millwall are not a club with huge resources, so Harris once again will have to be shrewd in the market, but who could be available?

It is early days, with many clubs waiting to find out their fate especially as the top six has yet to be decided, but below is a list of Championship attackers that are currently set to be without a club this summer.

Should Harris be in the market for any of them?

Gary Hooper - Sheffield Wednesday

News Shopper:

He’s had an injury hit campaign this season and has amassed just five outings with one goal.

Boasting a good goal record at Celtic, Norwich, Scunthorpe as well as The Owls, he is proven at Championship level but at 31 and having nearly a season out, would it be too much of a risk for Harris?

Conor Washington - Sheffield United

News Shopper:

Made waves at Peterborough which prompted QPR to splash £2.5million on the 26-year-old.

He’s failed to make an impact under Chris Wilder and with the Blades going up they are likely to be looking for Premier League quality strikers.

Washington also, he’ll want a run of games having started just three league games this season.

Frazier Campbell – Hull City

News Shopper:

Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspurs, he has the experience but has the pace that put him on the scene left him, at 31 most would say it has.

Similar to Gregory he’s scored 12 this season, his second best return of his career, but is he the player to replace Millwall’s current number nine?

David Nugent – Derby County

News Shopper:

He’s mentioned every time a transfer window is near.

At 33 he’s in his twilight years and it certainly be a signing for the future for Harris.

If as predicted Steve Morison is to get given another year at The Den, surely another ‘experienced’ striker on the books wouldn’t be ideal.

Luciano Narsingh – Swansea

News Shopper:

He’s failed to live up to his £4million price tag and has been kept out by the evergreen Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge this season.

The Dutchman would provide a bit of class and finesse on the ball, but is that what Millwall need? They need a proven goalscorer.
