Most people have had their say on Joe Aribo and Josh Cullen this season, but one person who may know better than most is Darren Pratley.

Aribo, 22, has attracted the attention of Premier League clubs this season whilst Cullen has been a hugely successful loan signing from West Ham.

Pratley, who has played and trained alongside the pair this season, unsurprisingly had another glowing reference of the pair touted for big things.

“Joe Aribo, the first time I saw him was this season, and what a talent he is,” the former Swansea man said.

“The best thing I can say about him is- he’s grounded.

“Because you get some players with a bit of talent who think they’re better than what they are.

“He wants to learn, get better every day.

“I would be surprised if he’s not playing in the top flight before too long because he’s that good of a player.

“He can do anything he wants.

“So much talent.

“He knows he’s got areas he has to improve on, but he wants to improve.”

On Cullen, Pratley who’s played with the 23-year-old for two seasons now, also feels he’s capable of making the grade at a higher level.

“I played with Josh at Bolton, he’s a very good player, very tidy on the ball.

“It was a good choice for him to come to Charlton.

“We play good football, the manger plays him every week, he’s getting game time and he’s playing well.”

As for their future, Pratley said assuringly: “The sky’s the limit for them both.”
