Here's how the players rated in Millwall's goalless draw with Stoke City at The Den.

Dave Martin

Millwall’s star man in the first 45. Made two great stops to deny Afobe from close range and was alert to any long balls. 8

Mahlon Romeo

Didn’t get forward as much as he’d like as he was pinned back by James McLean. A great battle between the pair, which the defender shaded, just. 6

Jake Cooper

Made a poor start at both ends but grew in to the game. Scarcely tested in the second half but headed everything that came his way. Not an easy thing to do in the windy conditions. 5

Alex Pearce

Defended the near post excellently and handled Benik Afobe both in the deck and in the air well. He MUST be signed permanently in the summer. 6

Shane Ferguson

Looked menacing at left-back and you could see how eager he was to venture forward. Moritz Bauer, the Stoke right back, was his equal however and nullified the Lions down the left. 6

Ben Marshall

Has had a poor loan spell and looked a frustrated figure. End cross, on which he made his name was way-off again. 4

Shaun Williams

Looked leggy in the middle and lack of matches showed. Composed when on the ball but won’t want to come up against Joe Allen again anytime soon. 5

Ryan Tunnicliffe

Dawdled on the ball on more than one occasion and got dispossessed. Needed to be quicker. 5

Ryan Leonard

Sat behind Gregory in the first half and the creative onus was on him. Pinned deep in their own half first half didn’t allow him to shine. Second half he sat deeper and looked more comfortable. 6

Jed Wallace

Quiet first half but breathed energy in to a lifeless Lions outfit with a rapid run from the half way which deserved a goal. Made Danny Batth look silly. 7

Lee Gregory

Handled himself well against a hugely physical back line if Shawcross, Batth and Williams. Little service and as many times this season must’ve thought he’s fighting a lone battle. Missed a sitter. 6

Subs:

Steve Morison

His presence in the box caused problems and Gregory would’ve been grateful of the support! 6

James Meredith

Little time to make an impact N/A
