Igor Vetokele had an eventful outing on Saturday against Luton Town.
A goal, an assist, and a tackle upon him that many felt was worthy of a red.
The 27-year-old Angolan however wouldn’t be drawn in to criticising referee Gavin Ward for his decision not to give goalkeeper James Shea his marching orders after he upended the forward half-way through the first half.
“I got told I didn’t have the ball anymore so it’s not a goal scoring opportunity so there’s not much I can do,” said a perplexed Vetokele.
“I’m not a referee so I don’t make the rules.
“I can think a lot of things but my opinion doesn’t count so as a player you need to focus on the game and try and continue.
“But am I OK with it? No.”

The Addicks come from a goal down to sweep away the league leaders who were on an incredible 28-game unbeaten run.
Lyle Taylor’s brace and Vetokele’s neat finish kept Lee Bowyer’s slim hopes of a top two finish alive.
“It was a pretty special day," he continued.
“Second half we gave everything and it means it was a very good week for us and we’re happy with nine points.
“But we just have to focus on ourselves, try to win the remaining games.
“It’s not in our hands, all we have to do is try to win what’s left and put pressure on the other teams.
“We are confident, we are a very good team at home, and away.
“But of course, at home we have that little extra- with fans behind us we are a very difficult team to beat.”
