Palace may have had an indifferent season this campaign with many feeling they have underperformed, but that hasn’t stopped many players being linked with moves away to ‘bigger’ clubs.

Here are the latest from the back pages surrounding to-ing’s and fro-ing’s at Selhurst Park.

Michy Batshuayi’s wages will be a stumbling block if Palace were to try and get him permanently in the summer, not to mention the hefty price tag.

He’s yet to set Selhurst alight meaning fans wouldn’t cry too much if they didn’t see him in the red and blue next year.

That said, they will want to see another forward in the set-up and the man touted is Aleksandar Mitrovic.

News Shopper:

‘Mitro’ almost singlehandedly guided Fulham to the Premiership in 2017/18, and was one of very few positives in their top-flight campaign this season.

Now relegated however, he’ll be looking for pastures new, and many feel that place is Palace.

Jack Butland rumours persist.

The Stoke man is reluctant to spend another year in the Championship as he looks to boost his international chances. Any club in the top flight would take him, including Palace, and at a cut price of £20million, he could prove to be a shrewd bit of long-term business with him being a baby in goalkeeper years, at 26.

Everton are also monitoring the shot-stopper in case England’s number one, Jordan Pickford, leaves for a top four outfit.

Any move for Butland would surely hinder on Vicente Guaita.

Reports earlier in the year claimed he was apparently ‘homesick.’ The former Valencia and Getafe man has since then established himself as Roy Hodgson’s number one, and declared his happiness at Selhurst.

At 32-years-old however, he won’t be around forever.

Luka Milivojevic

The nerveless Serbian who’s on a penalty hot-streak it seems has garnered interest from Italian giants, AC Milan. He’s a solid fafavouritete with his commitment each week and should the San Siro outfit come calling it would be hard for the player to say ‘no.’

One name who has been mentioned to replace the captain, should he go, is that of Danny Drinkwater.

News Shopper:

The Chelsea man who has been frozen out at The Bridge would be a similar fit to that of Milivojevic, and wouldn’t cost a fraction of the £35million the Blues spent on him two years ago.

At 29, he has a couple of seasons to left in him, and having won the league with Leicester, and been around winners at Chelsea, his experience at top level could prove a masterstroke.

Wilfried Zaha

A week doesn’t go by that the talisman isn’t connected to another club. He has publicly said his ‘future is with Palace,’ but with Steve Parish looking to fund a £100million stand at Selhurst, a hefty offer may be too tempting for the Chairman, even if Zaha wanted to stay.

Manchester United, City, Dortmund, Tottenham, and now Chelsea are in the race to fill the expected void left when Eden Hazard departs in the summer.

We’ve heard worse rumours:

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, everyone has heard the reports and there are many.

He really is that good.

Despite Hodgson wanting to keep the youngster there’s no doubt the club have earmarked potential suitors.

One of those is Nathaniel Clyne. On loan at Bournemouth from Liverpool where he hasn’t had a look in since Trent Alexander-Arnold’s emergence. West Ham are interested in the right-back but his ties to Selhurst Park may prove pivotal.
