Charlton’s travelling support seems to be the hot topic after their 2-0 win at Home Park on Saturday.

Despite a Lyle Taylor strike, a Neil Canavan own goal, and a Dillon Phillips penalty save, it was the Addick's fans at Plymouth that's the talking point.

Often you hear you hear managers coming out and praising their supporters, and Charlton’s Lee Bowyer is no different, but what was different about Saturday’s win was that the 817 fans that made the journey were hailed from all sides.

“The fans were unreal again today,” said Bowyer.

“One of their (Plymouth) members of staff came up to me and said ‘I have to tell you that your fans were outstanding from start to finish today,’ and that’s great to hear.

“He said they were so respectful and they get behind the team and you can see the reaction that the players get from the fans.”

Argyle fans, players and neutrals took to social media to show their appreciation also.
