Charlton received multiple injury boost ahead of their trip to Plymouth on Saturday.

Lee Bowyer revealed that Krystian Bieilik will return to the squad following a week on the sidelines after returning to The Valley from international duty with a hamstring strain.

There was also positive news regarding Jake Forster-Caskey and Lewis Page.

“Krystian’s training, he’ll be back in tomorrow and in the squad,” the manager said.

“(Lewis) Page is training and Jake is back training properly, with contact.

“We have to be careful with him (Jake) but there’s steady progress.

“It depends on him whether he plays before the end of the season.

“Without being stupid we need to get him to the level the other lads are on and he’ll be amongst it.

“He’s got a lot to catch up on in a short space of time.

“I hope he can because I’d love to have him back in the squad.

“It’s something we have to take day by day.

“He’ll obviously play in the under 23 and see how he comes through.

“Still a way to go, but the good news is he’s back training with us.”

Lewis Page is ready to be called upon and Bowyer admits his return is only good for the squad.

“There’s a good chance he’ll be in an around the squad, he’s very good out there, he gives us that width, and good delivery.

“It’s good competition for Ben (Purrington).”

Captain Jason Pearce seems to have got over the ankle injury that threatened to cut short his season.

“He’s fine, if I said I wanted him to play on Saturday I think he’d be fine.”
