Bradford City are investigating racist remarks made towards Charlton’s Lyle Taylor after Saturday’s 1-0 home win at The Valley.

The Bantams released a club statement via their Club website announcing the investigation after Taylor, who got the game’s only goal, received the abuse on Twitter after the game.

City officials are working with the Police and Charlton to identify the person responsible and have urged anyone to contact the club if they have any information.

Taylor has since spoke of him gratitude for the support from fans following the ordeal.

Anyone with information that could assist in Bradford's investigation have been asked to get in touch via email.
