Here’s how we rated Millwall’s players…

LIVE: Leeds United 3 Millwall 2 - as it happened at Elland Road

David Martin – 6 – Looked to be in discomfort for most of the game. Despite conceding three goals he commanded his area well. Penalty save was decent but poorly taken.

Mahlon Romeo – 6 – Struggled in the first half against Alioski, improved in the second half, and then Leeds’ second goal happened. He made a poor clearance which they capitalised on.

Jake Cooper – 7 – Bamford failed to have much of an impact against him. Used his physical presence to make life difficult and also had key moments defensively.

Alex Pearce – 6 – Similar to Cooper in that both committed very few errors and got themselves in front of shots where possible. Solid.

Ryan Tunnicliffe – 5.5 – Sometimes the game went past him and wasn’t the most comfortable player on the ball. Average.

Ryan Leonard – 6 – Made some brilliant passes that helped to unlock the opposition defence early on, and perhaps deserved better finishes to them.

Ben Thompson – 6 – Took his goal very well. It stunned pretty much everyone in the ground. Fairly productive given he was Millwall’s most advanced central midfielder.

Jed Wallace – 6.5 – One of Millwall’s brightest players but let himself down a bit with questionable decision-making in the final third. Missed crucial opportunities to make the right call.

Ben Marshall – 7 – One of his few moments going forward involved winning the penalty and scoring it. Showed more in helping defend than going forward.

Lee Gregory – 6 – Unfortunate not to get on the end of the ball at times when he appeared to be in the correct positions. Ran the usual hard yards well.
