Millwall and Bolton are fighting for three points this Saturday, but that’s not all they have in common.
Over the years there’s been many a player who’s played for both clubs.
How many can you name?
Jem Karacan
Karacan had two spells with the Lions, one in 2008 whilst in League One and another this season.
His injury plagued six-month spell was not renewed in January and he moved to the Central Coast Mariners in Australia.
The Turkish international joined Bolton in 2017 for a season and he made 21 appearances for the Trotters as they achieved promotion to the Championship.

Liam Trotter
The midfielder made 150 appearances for the Lions in a four-year stay at The Den, scoring 25 times.
In 2014 he joined Bolton on a three year contract making over 50 appearances for the outfit.
This season he played for AFC Wimbledon before recently signing for Orange County SC in the US.
Ben Amos
The shot-stopper made the free-transfer to Wanderers in 2015 from Manchester United where he made 52 appearances.
He made the switch, on-loan, to The Den earlier this season where he’s seen his jersey claimed by Jordan Archer.

Sam Allardyce
The former England manager started his playing career off at Wanderers in the early 70s.
He was a part of the 77/78 side that gained promotion to the First Division.
Following his time with Wanderers, the defender headed to Sunderland before joining Millwall in 1981, where he spent two years in the capital.
Mark Beevers
Beevers joined Millwall on a loan deal from Sheffield Wednesday in 2012, making his debut against Bolton.
The move was made permanent the same year and stayed with the club until 2016, making over 100 appearances.
That year he moved back up North for family reasons and signed for Wanderers where he remains.
Kevin Davies
Not many will know that the target man played at The Den.
He was loaned to the Lions from Southampton in 2002 and scored three times in nine games for the Bermondsey boys.
But he made his name at Bolton, with whom he signed for in 2003 and played over 400 games for the Trotters in a ten year period for the outfit.
Filipe Morais
Morais joined Millwall from Chelsea in 2006.
He made 16 appearances for the Lions before signing on loan for Bolton in 2017.
An assist merchant he was the leagues fourth top goal provider despite only playing half a season in League One.
Keith Branagan
The keeper made over 250 appearances for Bolton after joining from Millwall in 1992.
The Irish international saw three promotions with the Trotters and was the hero during Bolton’s play-off final victory in 95’ when his penalty save sent them to the Premier League.

John McGinlay
‘Super John’ joined Bolton from the Lions in 1992.
A club legend up north he scored over 100 goals in 245 appearances.
Tony Kelly
The man named ‘Zico’ joined Bolton in 1991 from Shrewsbury for a fee around £100,000.
Kelly joined Millwall for a brief period in 1994.
