It seems the jury is still out on Jeffrey Schlupp despite the midfielder winning Crystal Palace’s Player of the Month award for February.

The 26-year-old has been a regular throughout the month and has impressed Roy Hodgson enough to command a starting berth in the middle of the park holding off competition from Max Meyer and the fit-again Cheikhou Kouyate.

With five goals this season in all competitions and two assists in his last two league appearances, Schlupp beat Wilfried Zaha in the fans vote to pick up the ManBetX club award.

“Obviously it’s always nice to feel appreciated, that’s who we do it for- the fans, so to be voted for by them is extra special," Schlupp told CPFC official.

“I feel like I found some consistency in my play, we’ve been on a good run, and I’ve chipped in a with a few goals and assists.

“Let’s hope it continues.”

Despite picking up the accolade that captain Luka Milivojevic said was “well deserved,” there are a number of Palace fans are split by the former Leicester-man’s ability.
