Here's how the player's rated in Charlton's 1-1 draw against 10-men Southend United.

Dillon Phillips

Could do little for Humphreys deflected strike but looked nervy throughout. Lack of communication with Solly and Beilik on more than one occasion should’ve been punished. Still very young for a keeper and needs to make himself heard if he’s to fulfil his potential. 6

Krystian Bielik

Looks oh so comfortable on the ball, too comfortable infact. So much so that he takes needless risks. Overdid it on occasion trying to bring the ball out when a pass was the right decision. Much better second half despite picking up a booking. 6

Naby Sarr

Unfortunate to see his block loop over Phillips but the centre back looked untroubled after the visitors were down to ten men. Went close with a fine effort and offered a real aerial threat of set pieces. Charlton’s stand out performer, again. 8

Ben Purrington

Provided width going forward and stability in defence. End product could’ve been better and looked reluctant to send in a first time cross. Replaced at the break. 6

Chris Solly

Constantly open on the right flank but the ball took too long to get to him. When he did get it he provided a number of teasing crosses that deserved better. 7

Josh Cullen

Playing as a holding midfielder he’s always neat and tidy. Was guilty of holding on to the ball too long especially with the man advantage. 6

Mark Marshall

Saw very little of the winger in the opening 45 but provided a great delivery for the equaliser. Looked a lot more comfortable in a second half after being put on the wing. 6

Jonny Williams

Popped up everywhere and looked a level above everyone else on the pitch. Always looked to get forward and provided energy to what looked like a stale midfield. Constant threat running from deep. 8

Tariq Fosu

Abundance of skill but looked to beat one man to many on a number of occasions in the first half. Second half looked a lot sharper. 7

Ben Reeves

Played at the head of the midfield diamond and showed some fantastic feet in tight areas. Similar to a number of players he was guilty of not releasing sooner. Got the crucial equaliser with a fine header. 7

Igor Vetokele

Hard to remember him touch the ball. 5

Subs:-

Josh Parker

Came on at the break and was effective. Winning the aerial duel he supplied Vetokele and the on running midfield with many a knock down in a performance that would’ve silenced many a critic. 7

Reeco Hackett-Fairchild

Little time to make an impact
