Reports are circulating that Millwall are attempting to bring Middlesbrough striker Rudy Gestede to The Den on loan.
The Teesside Gazette said that the former Aston Villa frontman is one of Neil Harris' targets as he looks to add to his squad.
With Tom Elliott sidelined by injury and Tom Bradshaw ruled out for the season with ligament damage, Lee Gregory and Steve Morison are The Lions only out and out strikers.
At 36-years-old Morison can't be expected to play every game and Andy O'Brien has deputised in attack.
With Elliott out – a target man – the arrival of a forward arriving has increased and Gestede fits the bill.
The Benin striker himself has had a tough couple of years at The Riverside due to injury, starting 21 games and scoring six.
The move could prove to be a solid bit of business from Harris should it come off with Millwall looking to climb their way from the lower echelons of the Championship.
