Crystal Palace have recently added Lucas Perri and Bakary Sako to their ranks but having let four players leave it’s thought they are still in the market for more recruits.

Jason Puncheon, Jonny Williams, Alexander Sorloth and Nya Kirby have all left Selhurst Park until at least the end of the season, leaving Roy Hodgson’s squad pretty thin on the ground.

Here are the latest to be linked with a move to the Eagles:

James McCarthy

News Shopper:

The Everton midfielder is said to be looking for a move away from Goodison Park after falling down the Marco Silva’s pecking order.

Having returned to full fitness following an horrific leg break over a year ago, the Scotsman is keen to re-start his career and is willing to move elsewhere to do so.

A midfielder would not be at the top of Roy Hodgson’s wishlist but with Palace still trying to fill the hole left by Yoahnn Cabaye last year, McCarthy could fit the bill.

His £12million transfer fee may cause issues, so a loan deal would be the most likely outcome should any deal be struck.

Yannick Bolasie

News Shopper:

Could the former Eagle return?

It is unlikely considering Sako’s signing, but it’s thought the Congolese is desperate to move back to London where he flourished.

An unsuccessful loan stint at Aston Villa was cut short and now the 29-year-old is desperate to get his future resolved before the transfer window closes on Thursday.

If any loan deal were to go ahead Palace would have to pay all of his wages which may be the issue for Steve Parish and Roy Hodgson.

Gary Cahill

News Shopper:

He’s long been mooted to be leaving Chelsea but rumours are rife that Palace are ready to offer the centre back a contract.

With Scott Dann looking for guaranteed first team football, (see below), Cahill could be the ideal replacement with his experience and winning record.

Wages again could be an issue but should Dann leave, he would be an ideal replacement and someone who could command a starting berth.

Charlie Austin

News Shopper:

With Danny Ings commanding the starting role at St Mary’s, Charlie Austin has been a bit part player for Saints.

Despite his impressive stats on the south coast he’s not seen as the man to lead the line by Ralph Hasenhüttl.

Keen for first team football, his eye for goal and knack for being in the right place at the right time could be exactly what Hodgson is after.

Andy Carroll

News Shopper:

Out of favour at West Ham, and recently linked to Tottenham, the former Newcastle man has emerged as a shock target for Ry Hodgson.

Unconvinced by Connor Wickham and Jordan Ayew,(despite his recent upturn in form_, a proven striker, albeit with a horrid injury past, is what Hodgson is aching for.

Could that be Carroll?

Benik Afobe

News Shopper:

He caused a stir when he made his move from Bournemouth to Wolves and then to Stoke just 11 days later. But it seems Afobe could be heading for the exit door again.

Stoke are keen to get one of their forwards off their wage-bill and Palace have been rumoured to want to take advantage of the situation.

Antonio Valencia

News Shopper:

He’s been told he’s no longer wanted at Old Trafford and at 33-years-old he’s looking for a new challenge.

United have been known admirers of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and could use the captain, along with a sizeable cheque to tempt Palace in letting go of their prized asset.

Out

Scott Dann

News Shopper:

Fulham are reportedly working to take the fit again centre back to Craven Cottage.

Claudio Ranieri’s men are keen to resolve their defensive frailties and see the 31-year-old as key to staging a league revival.
