Reports in Germany claim that Borussia Dortmund are planning a summer swoop for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

SportsBild and Bild have claimed that Dortmund are making plans to splash £50million of the £60million received for Christian Pulisic from Chelsea on the Eagles star man.

The Champions League outfit see the former Manchester United attacker as a realistic target and are putting plans in place to land the 26-year-old Ivorian at the end of the season, when Pulisic leaves for Stamford Bridge.

Having warned off potential suitors in Tottenham and Chelsea for the last two summers, firstly with the £70million valuation of the player and then with a new improved contract last summer, Palace may have to find another way of keeping Dortmund at bay.

Dortmund currently sit top of the Bundesliga, six points clear of rivals Bayern having only lost one game all season.

The news will not be welcome at Selhurst Park considering the lack of transfer activity in to the club this month.

With five players having left and the likely departure of Jairo Reidewald to come, not only is the Palace squad thin on numbers, but short of quality also.

Incoming?

One signing that looks to be coming in to the club is that of goalkeeper Lucas Perri.

The Brazilian shot stopper is thought to be undergoing a medical on Wednesday before completing the deal.

The 21-year-old will be arriving from Sao Paulo and is expected to rival Wayne Hennessey and Vicente Guaita for the number one jersey.
