Ben Reeves and Josh Cullen are available for selection as Charlton welcome Accrington Stanley to The Valley this weekend.

The return of the duo from injury has been welcomed by manager Lee Bowyer who now has a selection issue ahead of the visit of the team in 14th.

Cullen has returned to training following a dislocated shoulder whilst Reeves has overcome a hamstring injury picked up three weeks ago.

“We were down to the bare bones,” said Bowyer.

“Slowly but surely, we are getting stronger again and are getting people back.”

“It makes my job harder in terms of picking a side but I’d much rather that than the other situation which we have had to deal with over the last five or six weeks.”

In their absence, as well as Joe Aribo’s longer term injury, Bowyer has turned to the squad’s youngsters George Lapslie and Albie Morgan to fill the void.

Cullen’s return, who was a standout performer during the opening six months of the season, will be greeted warmly by The Addicks faithful.

“Josh will be back in the squad on Saturday, he’s been looking good and very sharp in training,” continued Bowyer.

“He has obviously lacked matches but he will be in and amongst the squad on Saturday. He’s another one back and Reevesy is back training as well now.

“To have the pair of them back is good and now I have a headache about who to take in the squad and who to play.”

One player who has been ruled out is Jason Pearce who will be out for ‘a little while’ after injuring his ankle at Barnsley at the end of last year.
