It seems the number one jersey at Millwall is still up for grabs.

Jordan Archer and Ben Amos have both had extended stints in between the sticks at The Den and neither have filled the Lions’ faithful with confidence.

With Neil Harris firmly under pressure, could ensuring they have the right shot stopper go some way to stopping the rot?

Sitting 22nd in the Championship, Harris recently came out saying there could be a ‘change in personnel’ in Bermondsey and the goalkeeper position, it is thought by most fans, is an area which needs strengthening.

Archer is undoubtedly in a poor run of form, as is the entire team, but one clean sheet in ten appearances this season has called for a defensive rear-guard re-shuffle.

Who could Harris turn to? With funds tight the three goalkeepers that fit the bill are:

Keiren Westwood

He may be 34 but the Irishman has experience in abundance and knows what it takes at this level.

Having been frozen out at Sheffield Wednesday, the former Sunderland man would be keen to get back in the thick of the action, and there’s no place with more goal-mouth action than The Den it seems.

With his contract up in the summer he would be keen on a permanent or a loan deal to put himself in the shop window.

Jack Bonham

The 25-year-old Brentford keeper is excelling on-loan at Bristol Rovers in League One trouble. Having been second choice at Griffin Park behind Daniel Bentley the Irishman has had little chance to shine in the second tier of English football and would surely be ready to make the move permanent to The Den.

The move would be a gamble form Harris, but bringing him in wouldn’t break the bank and if the worst did happen and the side got relegated Bonham has already shown in his individual performances that he can cut it in League One.

Adam Federici

Another man that's seen his stock fall the past season is Stoke's Federici. The man who made his at Reading before stints with Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest would surely want another crack at the Championship. Limited to two outings in the league cup this season the 33-year-old Australian would provide experience to a backline that is in desperate need of some know-how.

David Stockdale

Much travelled and well experienced goalkeeper Stockdale is currently on the books at Birmingham, but recently finished a short loan spell at Wycombe after being told by Blues boss Garry Monk he has no future at the club.

His contract is up at the end of the season, but like Westwood he’d be keen to get himself a new club at the end of the campaign. Recently turned 33 Harris could do a lot worse.
