Day 15 of Crystal Palace's Christmas Calendar sees us looking at the man coming back in from the cold.
Jeffrey Schlupp’s season started brightly.
In the starting XI under Roy Hodgson he scored in the opening game against Fulham and there were high hopes for the former Leicester man.

As Palace’s form faltered however, it was Schlupp who was sacrificed to make way for another central midfielder by the manager.
Cheikhou Kouyate and Max Meyer’s emergence shunted Schlupp down the pecking order and the Ghanaian found game time hard to come-by.
Jordan Ayew stayed in the side despite the lack of goals or any real attacking threat. James McArthur and Meyer were then both used on the flanks which would’ve further got Schlupp thinking what he’d done to find himself in the cold.

As the games went by it was clear that Hodgson lost confidence in those he selected and he turned back to Schlupp who didn’t let his manager down.
Coming from the bench he made an impact in each substitute appearance and capped it with a goal in the 3-2m defeat at West Ham last weekend.
With Wilfried Zaha sidelined through suspension this weekend, Schlupp will be looking to take his chance against his former club Leicester, provided Hodgson opts for the 25-year old over the goalless Ayew.
