Joe Aribo and Karlan Grant scored twice in 15 minutes as Charlton comfortably defeated Doncaster Rovers to edge closer towards a playoff spot.
The pair netted in the 18th and 33rd minutes respectively as the two first-half goals were enough to secure all three points.
Charlton, who recovered from a 1-0 defeat to Rochdale, have now risen to eighth in League One and are three points behind sixth-placed Accrington Stanley.

Here’s how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…
Jed Steer – 6 – Didn’t have much to do all afternoon other than clear away back passes. Made a good save in the opening exchanges.
Anfernee Dijksteel – 8 – A really solid performance, made some excellent tackles and interceptions when called upon. Brought off for Sar towards the end.
Krystian Bielik – 7 – Both him and Pearce were comfortable at the back, made a good impression since returning from a short absence.
Jason Pearce – 7 – Commanded the defence well, made some crucial blocks when Doncaster could’ve been in for an equaliser or cut into the lead.
Chris Solly – 7 – It’s not his natural position but, yet again, he’s deputised well. It’s obvious this is a stop-gap but Solly has performed well yet again.
Josh Cullen – 8 – Looked calm and composed on the ball, as per, even in the face of Doncaster’s heavy pressure. Much-needed outlet for the defence.
Joe Aribo – 9 – A complete performance that was topped off with a clever goal. Significantly influenced both ends of the pitch. Should’ve had at least another, though. Man of the match.
Ben Reeves – 7 – Combined well with Taylor down the flanks and his set-piece deliveries were very good. Maybe unfortunate to not score after Ward’s free-kick? Brought off for Marshall after suffering a knock.
Jamie Ward – 6 – Pulled the strings well from his position sat behind Grant and Taylor, put himself about well. Booked after a spat with Doncaster’s Alfie May.
Karlan Grant – 8 – Goalkeeper Marko Marosi didn’t do nearly enough to keep his header out, but a goal is a goal. Unlucky not to get a second, or even a third.
Lyle Taylor – 7 – Was uncomfortable due to carrying an injury and yet he laid on the assist for the second. Brought off on the hour mark for Vetokele.
