Player ratings from Millwall's 2-0 defeat at Brentford.

Ben Amos – His first action of the game was to deal with a heavy back-pass, he sliced it for a corner. Couldn't do much for both goals as they were good finishes. Other than that was not tested. 6

Mahlon Romeo – A torrid day for the right-back. Tried to get forward but was pinned back by an inspired Benrahama. He will have much easier days at the office. 4

Shaun Hutchinson – some uncharacteristic errors from the fit-again captain in the first half. 6

Jake Cooper – Will be disappointed he didn’t score in the first half as he sent a header wide from six yards out. 5

Murray Wallace – The stand-in left back was Millwall’s best player. Very impressive, and even showed he had a yard of pace up against Canos. Could do nothing for the goal. 7

Jiri Skalak – Quiet day for the winger as he was backpedalling most of the game as he was helping his full-back deal with Benrahma. 6

Shaun Williams – Didn’t get forward all too often as he was guarding the back four for most of the 90 minutes. 5

Ryan Leonard – An industrious performance from the midfielder but it was in defence more than attack. When he did have space to run into the box he looked threatening, but these moments were rare. 6

Shane Ferguson – A very quiet day for the winger. Came alive late on, but only because he was moved to left back. 5

Tom Elliott – Tough day for the big man. Wasn’t given much service but didn’t hold it up as well as he knows he can. Taken off on the hour. 5

Lee Gregory – Forever running but up against a strong and quick pairing in Konsa and Mepham he found it difficult. 5

Steve Morison - Did what he always does, causes a nuisance. Sadly his teammates were all too deep to build on his flick-ons. 6
