Millwall came from behind to take the points they deserved at The Den, but who impressed?

Ben Amos – Wrong footed for the goal but couldn’t do anything about it. Great save to deny James Vaughan in the second half which kept his side in it. 8

Mahlon Romeo – did well offensively but poor challenge to give the penalty away. Got away with it but will need improvement against the ‘bigger boys’ of the league. 6

Murray Wallace – solid in the middle, dovetailed with Cooper nicely and followed his example. 7

Jake Cooper – another commanding performance by the centre half. The leader of the defence in Hutchinson’s absence. 8

James Meredith – did little wrong, but offered nothing going forward, replaced at the break. 7

Jed Wallace - combined well with Romeo down the right, putting in some teasing crosses. A thorn in Wigan’s side. 8

Shaun Williams – a captain’s performance. Leader in the middle of the park. Best performance to date capped with a fantastic penalty. 9

Ryan Leonard - did well breaking play up, but it was about his midfield partner today. 7

Shane Ferguson – gets better each week and always puts in a performance. 8

Tom Elliott – not his greatest game but kept plugging away. Won everything in the air but nothing dropped for him. 6

Lee Gregory – the man runs a marathon every week. He may not be in the goals but he’s invaluable to the side. Drags his team up the pitch when needed. 8

Subs –

Steve Morison – his presence gives his side belief. A leader of men. A focal point and physical presence that Wigan couldn’t handle. Yes it was a tap in, but you have to be there to score them. 8

Aiden O’Brien – possibly feeling hard done by by being left out the starting XI. Made his point very well, involved heavily in both goals and more importantly was a threat every time he had the ball. The Game Changer. 9

Shaun Hutchinson – still feeling his way back in after injury, picked up a yellow…N/A
