Now settled, new boys Tom Bradshaw and Ryan Leonard are keen to get Millwall firing and out of their sticky spell.

Speaking to the club website the summer recruits said they will be looking to get the Lions back to winning ways against Sheffield United this Saturday.

Bradshaw arrived from Barnsley on loan and now feel he’s ready to show why the club pursued his signature.

“Training has been intense. I’ve got in my head what the manager wants from me, and I now understand the way Millwall play,” said Bradshaw.

“I feel sharp, in games I felt sharp, so hopefully the results will turn and I can be part of it.”

The striker is yet to get off the mark for Neil Harris’s side but believes the floodgates will soon open.

“I was keen on becoming a striker who scores a lot of goals in the Championship. I scored 12 last year but it’s not what I want, I want higher targets than last year. I’m hungry to score as many goals as I possibly can in a Millwall shirt. I’ve always backed myself to score and I want to score as many goals as I can and make the Den go wild.”

Bradshaw’s teammate Leonard has received praise for his performances despite the side not picking up points in their last three outings. He has been allowed to face his parent club this weekend and there is no question where his allegiances lie.

“It makes it more interesting,” said the midfielder.

“For me a game is a game. The main thing is we win the game. Nothing else matters. We need the points now, so we need to go out there and win.”

Millwall currently sit three from bottom of the Championship whilst the Blades have enjoyed a good start and sit in fourth.
