Neil Harris says his players failed to do enough during the final 15 minutes of Millwall's late collapse to 10-man Swansea City at the Den.

There were nine minutes between goals from Kyle Naughton and Oliver McBurnie to see the visitors claim a surprising win after league debutant Courtney Baker-Richardson received a straight red card.

Murray Wallace headed the Lions into the lead past the hour mark but they struggled to capitalise as the visitors held firm to repel oncoming attacks - despite the numerical disadvantage.

Harris said: "If anyone in the ground had seen that coming, I wish they would have told me.

"Of course you're going to make the odd poor decision as an individual and as a group, but Swansea dug in and made it difficult to break them down.

"When you get your noses in front, I couldn't see us conceding and we never looked in any danger. here's always a threat of a counter-attack, but it never looked like it was going to come.

"We've got enough leadership in the group to manage the situation, but you can't explain individual errors. You can praise quality, but I'll talk again about the mindset of the players, as a group, over the last six days.

"Without naming names, did the players do enough when we didn't have the ball in the last 15 minutes? Did they do enough to make sure we didn't concede? Well, they didn't."

Baker-Richardson, who was playing his first game in the Sky Bet Championship, was dismissed inside five minutes for a reckless challenge on James Meredith in front of the two dugouts.

However, despite Swansea also losing their captain Leroy Fer to injury, they managed to successfully overturn a 1-0 deficit to come away with all three points.

It's Millwall's third straight league defeat, and now have a huge clash coming up with Leeds United at the Den following the international break.
