Oliver McBurnie helped complete a dramatic late turnaround as 10-man Swansea City came back from a goal down to beat Millwall at the Den.
The Lions took the lead when Murray Wallace headed home from a corner after Championship debutant Courtney Baker-Richardson was sent off after just five minutes.
However, despite a torrid first-half which saw skipper Leroy Fer hobble off through injury, Kyle Naughton grabbed the equaliser before McBurnie dealt the finishing blow.
Here’s how we rated Millwall’s players...
Ben Amos – 6 – Relatively unchallenged in the first 45 minutes. Both goals – can’t really blame him individually.
Mahlon Romeo – 6 – Looked to have made individual errors in both goals after what was a solid first-half from him.
Murray Wallace – 6 – Great header for the opener but that was the main highlight. Not much else to write about.
Jake Cooper – 7 – A good assist for Murray’s first goal for Millwall. Performed well against McBurnie up until the final 10 minutes.
James Meredith – 6 – Got involved up the pitch and was a decent outlet but his crossing was largely poor.
Jed Wallace – 5 – Not his best game. Should have hit the target with that early chance and made a pretty shocking foul. Overall, he cut a frustrated figure.
Ryan Tunnicliffe – 6 – A mixed performance. Looked lost on some occasions but, other times, contributed well. Better second 45 minutes than first but average performance.
Shaun Williams – 7 – In command and in control, partially helped by Swansea’s red card. He assisted the assist for the goal.
Aiden O’Brien – 6 – Started brightly and appeared to have real confidence in himself but wasted a couple chances when the opportunities arose. Replaced with Jiri Skalak.
Lee Gregory – 7 – Lively, as per usual, and caused issues. Had a few chances in the first 45 minutes. Snatched at a shot late on.
Steve Morison – 8 – Arguably Millwall’s player of the first-half. Great knockdown for Wallace’s chance. Continued to play well in the second. Man of the match.
