Ben Reeves, Jason Pearce, and Tariqe Fosu are all set to return to full training this coming Monday, according to Charlton Athletic’s medical staff.
The club’s head of medical services Alastair Thrush has provided the latest update ahead of the Addicks’ match against Fleetwood Town.
It follows a 1-0 defeat at home to Peterborough United during midweek, which saw Jason Cummings convert a penalty in the 89th minute.
Reeves is in the final stages of his rehabilitation after an Achilles tendon tear, while Pearce is coming back from injuring the medial ligament in his left knee.
Fosu is “completing speed and power-based drills” as part of his recovery after tearing his hamstring tendon.
It’s a case of the 22-year-old midfielder getting a sign-off from a specialist at the end of this week, which would see his return.
It follows after Igor Vetokele returned to full training as well, but Jake Forster-Caskey remains a long-term casualty as he is expected to miss the entire season.
Charlton will take on Fleetwood Town at the Valley before travelling to Southend United at the start of September.
