A youthful Charlton side crashed out of the Carabao Cup after losing 3-0 to MK Dons.
Early strikes from Dylan Asonganyi and Ryan Watson and Jo Cummings’ second-half own goal condemned the Addicks.
Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…
Dillon Phillips - 5 - Couldn't do anything about the goals. Didn't have a save to make.
Anfernee Dijksteel - 6 - Comfortable on the ball as you'd expect. Never seemed troubled.
Jo Cummings - 4 - His undercooked header led to MK Dons’ opener. Unlucky to see the ball rebound off him and into his own net.
Ryan Blumberg - 4 - Should’ve closed down Watson for his second goal.
Mark Marshall - 6 - Put in cross after cross after cross. Carried out his defensive duties well.
Taylor Maloney - 5 - Outmuscled in midfield and tired towards the end.
Albie Morgan - 8 - Charlton’s best player on the night. Clever touches on the ball and was always looking to play forward. Looks like a real talent.
Ben Dempsey - 5 - Did not see as much of the ball as his other midfielders.
Jamie Mascoll - 4 - Struggled to deal with Ousseynou Cisse’s physical presence throughout the evening. Rarely attacked down the left wing.
Reeco Hackett-Fairchild - 6 - Linked up well with Ajose and had a fierce shot saved in the second-half.
Nicky Ajose - 6 - Put himself about and will be wondering how he wasn't awarded a penalty after being bundled down in the box at 2-0.
Subs:
Kenneth Yao - 5
Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu - 5
Alfie Doughty - 5
