Millwall have told Rangers Jake Cooper is not for sale.
Rangers failed with a £3m bid for the Lions’ star defender earlier this month.
Cooper, 23, was a regular in Neil Harris’ mean defence, which kept 18 clean sheets last season.
The centre-half joined the club for a six-figure fee on a three-year deal last summer.
And Millwall have already rejected two bids from Rangers, according to the Evening Standard.
The Lions’ only permanent summer signing, Murray Wallace, has been brought in to add competition to Cooper, Byron Webster and Shaun Hutchinson.
