Goals from Lyle Taylor and Jake Forster-Caskey saw Charlton beat Dulwich Hamlet 2-1 at the KNK Stadium.
Taylor’s opener was cancelled out by Byron Lawrence’s wonder strike just before the break.
But Forster-Caskey’s 53rd-minute winner gave Charlton their second pre-season victory.
Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…
Dillon Phillips - 6 - Made a great save to deny Nyren Clunis from close-range in the first-half. Could do nothing about the equaliser.
Chris Solly - 7 - Assisted Taylor’s goal. Did not have a lot to do defensively.
Elliott Ward - 7 - Looked solid alongside Jason Pearce.
Jason Pearce - 7 - Dealt well with stocky striker Gavin Tomlin.
Ryan Blumberg - 4 - A centre-half playing as a left-back. He was caught in possession a couple of times and Clunis got the better of him on the wing.
Simon Dawkins - 4 - Barely involved in the game. Should be used as a no.10 against Crawley on Saturday.
George Lapslie - 7 - Impressive display from the youngster. Used the ball smartly.
Jake Forster-Caskey - 7 - He seemed to play a little bit deeper than Lapslie today. As we saw in the back-end of last season, the deeper role suits him.
Tariqe Fosu - 7 - He was lively and dangerous. Got in behind Dulwich Hamlet’s backline a few times but his shots were blocked.
Karlan Grant - 6 - Showed brilliant composure to set up Forster-Caskey’s tap-in. Played up front with Taylor and never stopped running. He is more effective on the wing.
Lyle Taylor - 9 - It’s now three goals in four pre-season games. Bullied Dulwich Hamlet’s two centre-halves and brought his team-mates into play with his physicality.
Subs:
Ashley Maynard-Brewer - 8

Patrick Bauer - 5
Naby Sarr - 5
Lewis Page - 6
Albie Morgan - 7
Taylor Maloney - 7
Joe Aribo - 5
Alfie Doughty - 5
Josh Magennis - 5
Nicky Ajose - 4
