Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson wants to sign West Brom star Jake Livermore.

The midfielder, who was given his England debut by Hodgson six years ago, is valued at £10m.

West Brom signed Livermore for a fee in that region in January 2017 - but are likely to sell him following their relegation to the Championship.

The 28-year-old was a first-team regular in the Baggies’ disastrous 2017/18 campaign. But his form was good enough to see him named on Gareth Southgate’s standby list for the World Cup.

Palace could lose French midfielder Yohan Cabaye, who is out of contract this month. The former Newcastle man is being monitored by Marseille.

And the Eagles see Livermore as a viable replacement for the 32-year-old.

Livemore came through Tottenham’s academy and made 36 first-team appearances before joining Hull in 2014.

He swapped the Tigers for West Brom 18 months ago - and is set to find a new club this summer.
