Tariqe Fosu could miss Charlton’s crucial trip to Shrewsbury this evening.
The Addicks trail 1-0 heading into the second leg of their play-off semi-final.
Fosu, who was a 62nd-minute substitute in the first leg, only returned to training on Tuesday after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Charlton caretaker boss Lee Bowyer said: “It’s a quick turnaround. The medical team have done outstanding to get him back this quickly.
“We thought he’d be out for both legs so I don’t know how long, if any minutes, I can play him on Sunday. Hopefully I can steal another half hour or something.
“It’s just a bonus to see him out there playing because he’s a great lad and a great player.

“He just plays with a smile on his face and he just make things happen.”
Charlton failed to build on their good start on Thursday. Josh Magennis and Jake Forster-Caskey spurned early chances as Shrewsbury controlled the second-half.
Jon Nolan’s 80th-minute goal means the Addicks must score at New Meadow to keep their promotion hopes alive.
Given the quick three-day turnaround, Bowyer is set to make changes to his team.
He added: “I can’t really criticise anyone, they’ve given me everything.
“But I will have to freshen it up, that’s for sure because they’ve just given me their all, so I’ll definitely make changes.”
