Player ratings from Charlton’s 1-0 defeat to Blackpool...
Ben Amos - 6 - Dealt very, very well with Blackpool’s balls into his box. Made two superb saves. But ultimately his error, a scuffed kick, led to Blackpool’s winner.
Chris Solly - 7 - He was fantastic tonight. Never let Viv Solomon-Otabor beat him. Hopefully his injury isn't too bad.
Patrick Bauer - 8 - A really solid performance by the German defender.
Jason Pearce - 7 - Likewise to Bauer, he was solid. Handled Kyle Vassell’s physicality with ease.
Lewis Page - 6 - He’d looked threatening before going off with a head injury on 26 minutes. It summed up his luck over the past year.
Ezri Konsa - 6 - Started in midfield and ended up at right-back. He was comfortable in both positions.
Jake Forster-Caskey - 6 - Never really had time on the ball to dictate the play.
Ben Reeves - 4 - All of his good performances have come away from home this season, but this wasn't one of them.
Tariqe Fosu - 5 - A rare quiet game for the young winger.
Josh Magennis - 5 - He would’ve been asked to carry out a more defensive role on the left wing. The striker was isolated when he moved up top for the second-half.
Michal Zyro - 5 - Had a few decent touches and was definitely more effective as a striker than on the wing. However, the Wolves loanee headed over when unmarked in the box - he had to score.
Subs:
Naby Sarr - 5
Joe Aribo - 5
Mark Marshall - N/A
